This could be a driver/software problem, in some cases a Windows 11 cause.

Try to download the latest version along with it so that the latest driver software is used. 

The old one does not need to be removed for this.

There may also be a communication problem between the PC and the operating system. Try a different USB cable and/or a different laptop.

Please note! Use a printer data cable for this that is also used to control a regular paper printer.  

If none of this works, the circuit board may need to be replaced.
