Calibrating machine in Mach3

It is possible to calibrate the machine at any time when the dimensions of the workpieces deviate.

You can do this by going to DIAGNOSTICS at the top of the screen.
In the middle of the screen on the left is Set Steps per Unit.

When you click here you will be asked which axis needs to be calibrated.

Next, you will be asked how far you want to move this axis. Then measure from a fixed point how far the axis has actually moved and enter that in the last step. It is best to measure this over as long a distance as possible. This will give you the most accurate  value.

The program will make a calculation for this and the axis is calibrated.
The values ​​of the X and Y axes are equal to each other.

Finally, save this change under Config -> Save Settings.
