Connection diagram of own plasma cutter (Acros 80S/150S Mach3)

2-pin connector (THC)

Pin 1: + Divided Arc Signal input * (brown)

Pin 2: - Divided Arc Signal input * (blue)

Caution! DC voltage, therefore connect + and - correctly.

4-pin connector (ARC)

Pin 1: -**

Pin 2: -**

Pin 3: Remote Start/Stop *** (brown)

Pin 4: Remote Start/Stop *** (blue)

Pin 1 & 2 – input; this is where the voltage from the plasma cutter must go. The input can be 1:1 or 50:1. If 50:1 is desired, the controller cables can be swapped in the control box (see the manual for this). This controls the THC (torch height controller). It ensures that the torch remains at the correct height relative to the material being cut.

Please note! If you ordered the cutting table without a plasma cutter because you intend to connect your own, it is set to a 1:1 input by default. Should your plasma cutter have a 50:1 VOLTAGE DIVIDER, you can adjust this in the control cabinet by reading the instructions in the manual.

To connect the Acros 80SX/150SX to MyPlasm, go to this page.

Nothing is connected to it.

*** Pin 3 & 4 – these ports ensure that a signal is passed on to the plasma cutter, causing the plasma cutter to turn on.
