Soft limit warning
If the control gives a soft limit warning when you press the start button, in most cases there is nothing wrong.
This means that the control knows that it wants to go beyond its table limit with the written g-code. In most cases this applies to the Z axis. The g-code states that the Z axis must go down by -100mm, for example. The maximum soft limit is set to -85mm. The control therefore wants to go beyond its limit and asks if that is okay. However, the control does not know that in this case it will be stopped prematurely by the plate thickness recognition (Probe).
When the workpiece is larger than the X and Y axis machine coordinates it is a different story. Then it can be that when you accept the warning the control wants to go out of its range. And the motors run against the end stops.
