Lubrication

To get the best result from the machine it is very important to maintain it well. It is important to oil and lubricate well so that the guides continue to run smoothly. We advise to re-grease all ball carriages every 40 operating hours and to keep the rails clean.

Before applying the new lubrication, clean the guide rail thoroughly with a paper or cloth.

Once the rails are clean, they can be re-lubricated. For lubrication, we recommend the following lubricants (see Figure 1).

The machine has a total of 7 points where it needs to be lubricated. These can be seen in the following images. Use the supplied lubricating nozzle for this. You can mount this on a standard grease gun.

To lubricate the following points it is necessary to first remove the protective cover. A 10 spanner is required for this.
