Of course, you can also send us a message via Facebook or Instagram. We'd love that! ;-)
Is it possible to get a demonstration?
Yes, that is possible! Schedule your demo here
What else do I need to make the machine work?
The plasma cutter must be equipped with a compressed air connection (minimum 270 liters per minute at 5.5 bar). A laptop or desktop is required for software control.
Do you provide training in using the machine?
Our machines are easy to use. You can find all information about controlling the machine on our website.
We do not come to your location. However, you are always welcome to gain knowledge at our workshop.
Does the machine come with drawing software?
No, the choice of CAD and CAM software is up to you. The control software for the machines can be downloaded from our site.
Free downloadable drawing software programs (CAD/CAM) that you can use include:
Fusion360
OnShape
SheetCam
See the page for this.
The working method
The software consists of existing programs about which a lot of information can be found online. This allows you to easily find a solution when you get stuck in the process.
Step 1. CAD software
Everything that is manufactured must first be designed. This is done using technical drawings, and CAD software is used for this purpose.
What is CAD software?
'CAD' officially stands for 'Computer-Aided Design', or 'creating drawings and designs with a computer'. Nothing new under the sun, as the first CAD software dates back to 1982! Back then, everything was still done in 2D, but nowadays 3D is particularly common.
What do you use a CAD program for?
CAD is fully integrated among designers and engineers. Virtually all of them have a CAD program to translate their creativity into a realistic design.
Fusion360
Fusion360 from Autodesk is, for example, a very suitable CAD program that is free for personal use. Fusion360 also has an integrated CAM program (see step 2). However, there are plenty of other suitable CAD programs.

Step 2. CAM software
What does CAM stand for?
CAM stands for Computer Aided Manufacturing. So, CAM is software. This software makes it possible to produce products via the computer. With CAM software, you are essentially automating your production process. CAM is also known as computer-controlled manufacturing. This is because the software processes your product design and sets the production process in motion. And voilà, within no time Do you have the product in your hands!
CAD/CAM program
As discussed in step 1, Fusion360 has an integrated CAM program. However, there are CAD programs that do not have the CAM function. For that, SheetCam a suitable solution. SheetCam can be seen as a kind of universal CAM software. After all, all CAD programs can export a drawing in DXF format. In SheetCam, the DXF can be loaded, prepared for production, and exported as G-code (see step 3). SheetCam can be free download. If you want the extensive package, the costs are a one-time fee. €248,95, - euro (check the official Sheetcam website for current prices).
What is the CAD program used for?
Once the technical drawing has been opened in the CAD program, the cutting speed, the notch width of the plasma beam, the cutting height, and a number of other settings are configured here, among other things, so that the machine ultimately follows exactly the right line and switches the plasma source on and off at the right moment.

Step 3. G-code
In step 1, we discussed that one can create a technical drawing using CAD software and subsequently edit it with CAM software so that it is ready for production. The final step is saving the process as G-code.
What is a g-code?
A G-code can essentially be seen as a kind of script for the machine. The commands that the machine must execute are listed one after another, along with the corresponding coordinates of the various axes. This allows the machine to know, for example, at what moment to switch on the torch and what its cutting height should be.

The image shows how the different g-codes follow each other. For example, code G31 (probe) is the command to tap the workpiece at a speed of 1000 mm/min (F1000) to then set the Z-axis coordinates to zero. And code M3, for instance, switches on the torch. M5 switches it off again.
Theoretically, therefore, one can also type this manually. But of course, it is easier when the software does the work for you.
How is the machine delivered?
It is delivered fully assembled and packed on a pallet. You can then easily connect and adjust everything yourself, and it is ready for immediate use.
What are the delivery times?
In general, we do our best to deliver the machines within 2 to 3 weeks.
However, this may take longer due to special circumstances.
Please contact us for the most up-to-date delivery time.
